Around The World In 80 Minutes

Here’s a flashback to a trip earlier this year when we spent an afternoon at Windows of the World. This place I could remember from the last time I’ve been to Shenzhen some ten years ago. We ‘travelled’ through the Americas, Europe, and some parts of Asia and Africa all in a day. We had fun taking photos at the mini (but not really) replicas of iconic structures all over the world.

The eiffel tower supposedly has a 1:3 ratio to the actual tower; and like the original, it has a viewing platform up top. Quite fascinating how they got down the proper proportions. Well, these days, they do say everything’s made in China. :p

As we were practically crawling back to the hotel by the end of the day, it was dinner in bed with a lovely view of the port. Oh, and by dinner I mean chinese takeout and instant noodles. 😉
